This internship is designed for students and recent graduates pursuing CPT or OPT opportunities in Sales, Marketing, Business Analytics, Hospitality, Communications, or Business Administration. Interns will gain hands‑on experience supporting local store growth initiatives, customer engagement strategies, promotional campaigns, and business performance analysis within a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with local store marketing initiatives and community outreach efforts.
Support promotional campaigns, customer engagement strategies, and brand awareness initiatives.
Assist in developing creative sales‑driving ideas to increase traffic, repeat business, and customer retention.
Learn and support daily operations including quality assurance, delivery, order‑taking, food safety & preparation, inventory, delivery processing, scheduling, reporting and monitoring, and general store operations.
Support social media engagement, local advertising, and grassroots marketing efforts.
Customer Experience & Operations
Provide excellent guest service through front counter support, phone order assistance, and customer interactions.
Operate POS systems and assist with order processing and transaction accuracy.
Observe customer behavior trends and provide feedback related to guest satisfaction and sales opportunities.
Business Analytics & Reporting
Analyze sales trends, customer traffic patterns, and promotional performance metrics.
Assist leadership with tracking KPIs including ticket averages, sales growth, and product mix performance.
Research competitor activity and local market trends to support strategic decision‑making.
Participate in inventory support, product promotions, and operational initiatives that improve profitability.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality, Communications, Sales, or a related field preferred.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Interest in hospitality marketing, customer engagement, and business growth strategy.
Comfortable using spreadsheets, telephone systems, POS & reporting systems, sales reports, and basic analytics tools.
