Job Overview
Concord Academy, an independent, co‑educational boarding and day high school renowned for its world‑class faculty, passionate students, and graduates who make their mark on the world, seeks an adjunct percussion instructor to begin teaching in September 2026.

Responsibilities

Teach one‑on‑one lessons on drum set and percussion as part of the Individual Music Instruction (IMI) program.

Schedule lessons during the academic school day and, if necessary, before or after school.

Coach a small percussion ensemble, as required.

Qualifications

Hold a degree in music performance or a closely related field.

Have a proven history of successful teaching and performance in music.

Be comfortable working with high school students at all levels and across a variety of musical styles.

Compensation and Benefits
Adjunct music faculty are W‑2 employees and are paid a 10‑month salary based on studio load. The annual rate of pay is $1,645 for a 40‑minute lesson and $2,150 for a 60‑minute lesson.
