Position Overview
The State of Ohio is seeking a senior-level Program Manager to support project governance, portfolio management, and IT project delivery. This role involves overseeing multiple projects, assisting project managers, and ensuring alignment with agency goals while reporting to executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement project governance policies and frameworks

Manage and administer the agency’s project portfolio

Gather and document requirements for backlogged and ongoing projects

Lead and manage multiple IT projects from initiation to delivery

Provide guidance and support to project managers across the team

Monitor project progress, risks, timelines, and deliverables

Report project status and portfolio updates to CIO and executive leadership

Ensure projects align with organizational strategy and objectives

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management

Strong understanding of IT project lifecycle and delivery methodologies

Experience managing multiple projects and project portfolios

Experience in governance, reporting, and stakeholder management

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
