We are seeking a professional to join our Digital Content team at a leading global STM publisher.
The ideal candidate will bring editorial expertise and a passion for improving the clarity, accuracy, and educational impact of healthcare content. This role combines developmental and line editing of educational healthcare content in a dynamic, technology-forward content production environment.
Responsibilities:
Edit healthcare-related educational content for accuracy, clarity, structure, and consistency.
Perform line editing and copyediting for grammar, usage, and adherence to internal style guides and industry standards (e.g., AMA Manual of Style).
Collaborate closely with content developers, instructional designers, clinical editors, project managers, and image coordinators to ensure content meets quality, style, and educational objectives.
Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
Participate in virtual meetings and collaborate via Microsoft Teams and other internal communication tools.
Adapt to evolving workflows and technologies, contributing to process improvements and new content development approaches.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience editing professional clinical content (not consumer facing).
Education is a high school diploma.
Desired Skills:
Exceptional editing skills and attention to detail.
Experience working in content management systems.
Comfortable with learning new technologies.
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $26.00 - $27.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
