Job Title: ** Senior Associate Communications Specialist

Location: ** Dallas, TX 75261

Schedule: ** Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Duration: ** 3-Month Contract with Possible Extension

**

Job Summary: **

Under the general supervision of the Senior Communications and Marketing Manager, with input from other internal stakeholders, assists with the development and execution of integrated communication strategies to support the Airport and its key results. Writes articles, remarks, announcements, and other editorial content for all communications channels. Proactively collaborates with the Communications and Marketing Department and other external departments to align all copy and content to deliver consistent messaging to all audiences. Responsible for developing and creating communications and marketing strategies and identifying new channels based on data-driven analysis and evaluation of existing communications infrastructure. Assists with crisis communications, special events, and media relations, depending on the needs of the department.

Key Responsibilities: **

Develop and manage content for internal and external communication channels, including intranet, emails, digital signage, and marketing materials.

Support communication strategies, employee engagement initiatives, and public relations efforts.

Create clear, consistent messaging aligned with organizational goals.

Analyze communication metrics and recommend improvements based on data insights.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on major organizational initiatives and campaigns.

Assist with media relations, crisis communications, and special events as needed.

Qualifications **

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, employee communications, or media relations.

Strong writing, editing, and AP Style proficiency.

Experience with SharePoint, content management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.

Valid Class C Driver’s License required.

Preferred Skills: **

Graphic design and multimedia content creation experience.

Photography, videography, and visual editing skills are a plus.
