SO WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
As an Event Associate you will be responsible for making sure events run smoothly, providing quality craft snacks to fuel smiles, and making sure everyone has a smile on their face. You will be handling the order taking, production and delivery of the craft snacks and beverages. There will be other opportunities for growth; whether it be into a Stand Lead/Manager, production or warehouse coordinator, Operations or brand Ambassador.

Event Operator

As an Event Operator, you are responsible for executing mobile food service operations at live events. This is a hands‑on role focused on reliability, customer experience, and high‑volume service.

Position Summary
As an Event Operator, you will be responsible for executing mobile food service operations at live events. This is a hands‑on role focused on reliability, customer experience, and high‑volume service.

Key Responsibilities

Load in, set up, operate, and tear down mobile food truck and event concession stations

Produce and serve popcorn in high‑volume, fast‑paced live‑event environments

Manage customer flow, keep lines moving, and deliver friendly, professional service

Represent the Cactus Corn brand directly with event attendees

Handle POS transactions, including cash and card payments, accurately

Assist with end‑of‑event closing procedures and basic sales reporting

Maintain cleanliness, food safety standards, and equipment care

Travel to event locations across Phoenix

Work nights, weekends, holidays, and peak event seasons

Qualifications

Some experience in live‑event food service, food trucks, festivals, concessions, catering, or high‑volume quick‑service environments. Feel free to still apply if you think you'd be a good fit but don't have the experience.

Comfortable working in fast‑paced, high‑energy settings with large crowds

Able to stand for long periods and perform physical event work, including lifting and moving product

Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and attitude

Available for nights, weekends, and major event days

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Arizona

Preferred Qualifications

Food truck or mobile kitchen experience

Stadium, festival, or concession stand experience

POS system or cash‐handling experience

Snack food or popcorn production experience

Training is provided for the right candidates.

Weekly pay plus tips and commission opportunities.

We can’t guarantee tips, but at high‑traffic events like sold‑out games and concerts, many operators consistently earn significant tip income, often equating to an additional $10–$20 per hour.

Earnings vary based on event type, crowd volume, and shift role.
