About the Role

What if your voice could directly shape how AI understands and communicates with millions of people around the world? We're looking for professional voice actors and voice-over artists with authentic South African English accents to participate in paid studio recording sessions for a leading AI speech research project.
This is a short-term contract role involving a small number of focused recording sessions. Your voice won't be cloned — you'll simply be helping AI systems learn to understand real, natural human speech.

Format: In-person professional recording studio (locally assigned in South Africa)
What You'll Do

Record natural, conversational South African English speech in a professional studio environment
Participate in single-speaker sessions and dual-speaker dialogue recordings
Deliver realistic, human-sounding dialogue — think natural conversation, not scripted performance
Take light direction on tone, pacing, and delivery to capture a range of speech styles
Bring your authentic South African accent to every session
Who You Are

A professional voice actor or voice-over artist with real recording experience
Native or near-native South African English accent — authentic and natural
Fluent in English with strong spoken communication skills
Comfortable recording conversational and dialogue-based content
Reliable, professional, and receptive to direction
Currently based in South Africa
Nice to Have

Acting or performance background
Experience in broadcast, podcasting, or prior studio recording work
Comfort with improvised or naturalistic speech styles
