React Developer

The opportunity
We are currently seeking highly motivated people for our Technology Consulting practice, which is a leading provider of services to the financial industry and large corporate clients across all sectors.

As an IT Professional you will contribute technical insight to client engagements and internal projects, as well as supervise more junior members of the team in Greece and abroad. In line with EY's commitment to quality, you will ensure that your work is of the highest quality.

Your key responsibilities

Contribute technical insight to client engagements and internal projects.

Supervise more junior members of the team.

Qualifications

Excellent academic background, including at a minimum a bachelor’s and preferably a master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology/Systems or another related field.

Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills in both Greek and English.

Analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Skills and attributes for success

2+ years of experience with the React library.

Proven experience in web development with technologies such as HTML, CSS, jQuery, JSON, and XML.

Experience with front‑end frameworks like Bootstrap and Material.

Experience with CSS and CSS preprocessors.

Experience with responsive and mobile design.

Experience consuming RESTful APIs and Services.

Working knowledge of versioning and source control systems.

Ideally, you’ll also

Relevant experience building mobile apps with React Native.

Working experience implementing IT systems, including analysis, design, implementation, integration and maintenance.

Familiarity with the Figma design tool.

Working experience with at least one RDMS (SQL Server, Oracle Database, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

Experience in application development using the .NET Framework, Java or Python.
