OVERVIEW:
Working as Full-time Photographer, you will work with a close knit team of writers, videographers, designers and coordinators on wide-ranging projects from carefully planned productions to live events. In this position, you will take ownership of your projects from beginning to end and showcase your talent to Fastenal employees and customers around the world. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
o Participating in creative sessions to develop ad concepts
o Planning and executing location photography at company and customer facilities
o Providing product photography for monthly promos and other marketing materials
o Organizing and executing portrait photography of company leadership
o Capturing photos of company events including trade shows and sponsored sports events
o Preparing and enhancing images using Photoshop
o Managing photo releases and approvals
o Managing photos in our digital asset manager
o Maintaining camera equipment, including lights, lenses and tripods
o Recording, editing and publishing video messages from company leadership
o Assisting with other video projects as needed

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
o Possess a current valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements
o Possess professional photography experience
o Possess experience using Photoshop
o Excellent written and oral communication skills
o Familiarity with non-linear editing (Premiere, After Effects or similar)
o Demonstrate working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
o Proficient using lighting, lenses and techniques
o Work independently as well as in a team environment
o Willingness to travel
o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
o Previous experience with interactive design elements and motion graphics
o Possess a professional photography portfolio

Fastenal offers a competitive benefits package to all full-time employees. This package includes Health, Life, Long Term Disability, and Dental Insurance, in addition to, paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, and 401(k) with an employer contribution.

COMPENSATION:
The base pay range for this position is $52,800 - 56,000. In addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission.
