The Ideal Candidate
Kreber is seeking a creator who is as proficient with a timeline as they are with a creative concept. You should possess the technical mastery to streamline workflows and the artistic intuition to tell dynamic, emotive stories that resonate with our clients' audiences. You are a "full-spectrum" visual storyteller. You don't just cut clips; you enhance them with purposeful, brand-aligned video and motion design. You understand that a great edit must respect both the creative vision and the commercial reality, consistently delivering high-end work that fits within project budgets and tight turnaround times.

Key Responsibilities
Video Post-Production

Creatively edit footage into digestible video stories or longer-form narratives, and prepare rough and final cuts for client approval.

Utilize modern editing techniques and adhere to established best practices for the distribution channels.

Edit audio including music, dialogue, sound design, etc.

Color correct and grade footage.

Deliver video files to channel specifications.

Video Content Ideation

Collaborate with the Creative Team to deliver edits that convey the messaging our clients require.

Search for stock music and footage when necessary.

Monitor all technical aspects of recording and editing.

Trends

Consistently bring forth fresh ideas and editorial methods that are both effective and on-trend within the market (social media, etc.).

Identifying the latest capture equipment and relevant post-production techniques.

Stays up-to-date on relevant software, plugins and AI workflows to increase efficiency.

Required Experience & Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Communication or equivalent.

3-5 years of experience in video editing and production.

Strong reel demonstrating concise, high-impact video. It must showcase technical proficiency, creative storytelling, and versatility.

Be a team player and participate in the client service, creative, and production process.

Experience in content creation, marketing and advertising.

Expert at using Adobe Premiere Pro and Media Encoder.

Proficient with other Adobe Creative Suite apps, including After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.

Proficient with digital asset management and Mac OS.

Knowledge of audio and sound editing for video production.

Ability to serve as a DP or Camera Assistant as opportunities arise is a plus.

Develop relationships with freelance post-production editors and motion graphics/animation designers that can be leveraged for project capacity and talent requirements.

Knowledge of Frame.io

Knowledge of Google Docs
