Technical Illustrator

If you are a Drafting Professional looking to grow your career, Emerson has an opportunity for a Drafter and Document Management Specialist at its Rosemount Specialty Products location in East Wenatchee, WA. The role reports to the Design Engineering Manager and focuses on creating custom products for harsh environments, from ocean depths to outer space.

Responsibilities

Utilize CAD software and drafting knowledge to produce complete technical drawings.

Produce detailed 3D CAD models, drawings, and schematics that meet customer requirements and ASME Y14 Standards.

Coordinate and consult with engineers to complete projects on time.

Transform initial rough product designs into working documents using CAD software.

Collaborate with the Document Management Specialist to ensure accuracy of Engineering Change Orders and Certifications of Conformance.

Work extensively with engineering regarding design and quote files.

Qualifications

Associate’s Degree in Drafting or another technical field.

0–2 years of experience as a Drafter.

Experience with CAD software.

Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Under International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), only U.S. persons (U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or protected individuals as defined by 22 CFR 120) may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of experience as a Drafter.

Manufacturing experience.

SolidWorks experience.
