Videographer

POSITION SUMMARY
The Videographer/Editor is a key member of the Marketing and Communications Team, responsible for producing high-quality video content that supports the vision and communication strategy of Trinity. This role leads the creative process from concept to final delivery, capturing and telling meaningful stories across all ministries including Trinity Church, Trinity Christian School, For Her Women’s Medical Services, and Love Lubbock. This individual will help shape the visual voice of Trinity by creating compelling, engaging, and spiritually impactful video content for weekend services, digital platforms, and special initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
VIDEOGRAPHY

Collaborate with ministry leaders and internal clients to understand the vision, message, and goals of each project.

Conceptualize and capture original video content that enhances the weekend experience and aligns with Trinity’s overall communication strategy.

Film a wide range of content including testimony videos, announcement videos, sermon illustrations, promotional content, and special projects.

Ensure proper lighting, composition, and audio quality during shoots.

Manage and maintain video equipment and production gear.

Recruit, train, and lead volunteers as needed to support video production.

VIDEO EDITING

Edit and produce high-quality video content using industry-standard software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, etc.)

Develop storyboards or rough cuts for review and approval before final production.

Enhance video content with graphics, music, sound design, and color correction to meet brand standards.

Produce a variety of formats including short-form social content, long-form storytelling, sermon elements, and promotional videos.

Edit and prepare sermon recordings for online distribution.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the vision, mission, and values of Trinity Church.

Participate in the life of the church through personal spiritual growth (Bible study, groups, prayer, giving, etc.)

Be flexible and willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed to support ministry goals.

Must be or become a member of Trinity Church.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Film, Video/media Production, journalism, communications, or a related field preferred. Proven experience in videography and video editing with a strong portfolio of work. Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools. Experience with DSLR, mirrorless, or cinema cameras and related production equipment. Strong understanding of lighting, composition, audio, and visual storytelling. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
