Fidelity Hotel is hiring for a Sales Coordinator.
Fidelity Hotel is an adaptive reuse project located at 1940 E. 6th Street in the historic 103‑year‑old Baker Building. Fidelity Hotel has 97 guest rooms & suites, each with tailored amenities, custom‑designed furniture, and thoughtfully curated art. The property features a full‑service restaurant, bar, event & meeting spaces, and a private dining room. Fidelity Hotel is an homage to Cleveland’s long‑standing ideals. Responsibilities
Coordinate all groups and events booked by the sales team, including rooming lists, cut‑off dates, group and event resumes, billing, and final audits.
Prepare group and event resumes, BEO packets, billing, and other documents in an accurate and timely manner.
Assist with reservations, billing, and special requests for group blocks and events.
Maintain detailed and meticulously organized account files, system profiles, and accurate systems data.
Screen and qualify all telephone leads and sources to the correct Sales Manager.
Participate in the Hotel’s weekly Resume and BEO meetings to review group business and upcoming events with the operations team.
Assist in the development and implementation of special projects as assigned.
Ensure open lines of communication with staff, all departments, and upper management at all times via email, online applications, meetings, etc., to ensure all needs are met.
Qualifications
Strong belief in hospitality, deeply and passionately.
Excellent relationship‑building skills and enjoyment of growing and maintaining new relationships.
Expertise in time management, prioritizing, and multitasking.
Creative, initiative‑driven, and solution‑oriented.
Strong computer skills and quick to learn new software programs.
Detail‑oriented with excellent communication skills.
Strong work ethic, able to work autonomously and in a team.
Previous group and event coordinating experience.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A degree in hospitality, tourism, or hotel management is preferred.
