QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree with a major in commercial/fine art
- Proficiency with design, illustration, layout, photography, computer graphics and art graphics
- Three plus years hands-on experience in a corporate environment with experience in a wide range of projects (publications to brochures to newspaper ads)
- Technical and creative knowledge of design, form, line, color, layout, illustration, photography and printing
- Macintosh computer skills
- Highly skilled in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, with a working knowledge of Acrobat Pro, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and Dream Weaver.
- Firm grasp of print processes including file preparation and color check
- Must be able to see a project from conception to completion
- A strong knowledge of photography and photographic processes is also required
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conceive, design and produce sales literature, sales promotion, incentive club material, advertising material, publications, meeting needs, logos and other graphics for all companies, agencies, and Home Office in a timely manner while maintaining an organized, teamwork based atmosphere.
- Serve as a key member of corporate brainstorming team for various Corporate Communication projects.
- Assist with photography needs for annual report, contests, site promotion, catalogues, publications, etc., either on location or the in-house photography studio. As well as candid photography needs for in-house events/meetings and maintenance of/correction to those photos
- Other artwork as needed by a wide variety of Home Office and Agency clients
