NeckCare is a healthcare technology company redefining how clinicians assess, treat, and monitor neck-related conditions. Our platform combines wearable sensor technology with software to deliver more objective cervical assessments, clearer patient insights, and guided rehabilitation both in and outside the clinic.
We work at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and design. Our product includes a web platform for healthcare professionals, a patient-facing mobile experience, and a sensor-based medical device solution. Design is not a support function at NeckCare. It is central to how we build trust, communicate clinical credibility, and create products people want to use.
Our R&D team is based in Iceland and our commercial team is based in Minneapolis. We are building an ambitious company with global potential and we are looking for exceptional people who want to help shape it.
Location: Based in Twin Cities. In Minneapolis Office 2/3 days a week. Work from home 2/3 days a week.

Lead Designer

We are looking for a true lead designer.
Not someone who is just good at making things look nice. Not someone who waits for direction. We are looking for someone with taste, judgment, ownership, and the ability to raise the standard across the company.
As Lead Designer at NeckCare, you will own and evolve our visual identity across brand, product, and commercial touchpoints. You will be the person who protects the brand, sharpens how we show up in the market, and ensures that everything we put in front of customers reflects a high standard of quality.
You will be based in Minneapolis and work closely with both our US commercial team and our Iceland-based R&D team.
This is a high-impact role for someone who wants real responsibility and has the portfolio and presence to back it up.
What You Will Own

Build and maintain a world-class brand system and design guidelines
Elevate the quality and consistency of all visual company assets
Design high-quality sales and marketing materials
Create conference materials including booths, banners, print, and swag
Develop campaign assets and content marketing visuals
Lead design for our web and mobile product experiences
Contribute to product-related design including packaging and physical device aesthetics
Partner closely with leadership, engineering, marketing, and sales to ensure design is driving clarity, trust, and differentiation
What We Are Looking For

A senior-level designer with a strong track record of high-quality work
Someone who has built, scaled, or meaningfully shaped a brand
Strong product design capability across web and mobile
Excellent command of Figma
Experience working closely with engineers and cross-functional teams
Strong visual storytelling and communication skills
High standards and strong attention to detail
The ability to think strategically and execute at a high level
A portfolio that clearly shows both process and outcome
Someone who can explain not just what they designed, but why it mattered
