Purpose Statement
Rich Products is looking for a PLM Specialist to join our Digital Center of Excellence in the Research, Innovation and Compliance function. The role acts as a subject matter expert in Product Lifecycle Management system and processes, facilitating workflow transactions to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely product data as part of the Speed-To-Market project lifecycles. The PLM Specialist partners closely with R&D, STM Coordinators, QA, Operations, and Plant Teams to execute PLM workflows, maintain data integrity, and enable business continuity across USC categories and manufacturing locations.

Responsibilities

Perform accurate and timely entry of assigned data responsibilities in the PLM system, including formulas and finished-good recipes, specifications, and controlled documentation.

Create, launch, monitor, and support PLM workflows in alignment with the Enterprise PLM manual, covering ingredient processes to recipes that impact finished goods.

Review existing workflows and support system troubleshooting activities as assigned.

Serve as the PLM representative on STM teams, providing guidance on workflow launch timing and execution.

Act as the R&D team member for STM project work on non-development or low-complexity initiatives, such as plant extensions, private label codes and specialty items.

Validate PLM data accuracy and completeness, partnering with R&D for verification when required, and ensure data supports downstream systems (ERP/SAP, plant systems) and regulatory compliance.

Uphold PLM data standards, authorization rules and IP protections for all categories and plants.

When assigned, act as Raw Material Evaluation Administrator: set up new RMEs, collect and validate documentation, enter ingredient parameters, launch and monitor RME workflows, and administer the Global Replace process for ingredient and material changes across USC plants.

Support data insight and data-service requests, gathering data from primary and secondary sources, cleansing data, scrutinizing reports, identifying opportunities for process enhancements, and developing dashboards, charts and visual aids to support decision-making across departments.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.

4+ years of experience supporting PLM systems, product data lifecycle management, or R&D/STM workflows.

High proficiency using a PLM system (SAP, Oracle, Siemens or equivalent recipe management database).

High proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Exceptional attention to detail for data-rich transactions.

Problem-solving ability and critical evaluation of data to derive actionable insights.

Effective communication, listening and collaboration skills.

Ability to communicate with stakeholders across multiple audiences and functions.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Engineering or related field.

Compensation
Annual range: $47,648.00 – $64,466.00
