About the Opportunity

The Communications Manager leads the development and execution of internal and external communications, including newsletters, organizational announcements, M&A activity, and marketing collateral, while supporting lead generation initiatives. This role ensures consistent, engaging messaging that strengthens brand presence and aligns with business goals. Additionally, this role will be critical in supporting overall growth within our business.

Job Duties

Execute communication strategies across internal and external channels.

Manage internal communications, including employee messaging and engagement initiatives.

Oversee external communications such as announcements, press materials, and brand messaging.

Plan, write, and distribute internal and external newsletters.

Create and maintain marketing collateral for presentations, sales collateral, brochures.

Partner with the Lead Generation Specialist to support campaigns through content creation (emails, landing pages, etc).

Create consistent messaging across all platforms and audiences.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in communications or content marketing.

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related role.

Strong writing, editing, and content development skills.

Proficiency in

Adobe Creative Suite and Canva

for developing and editing marketing and communications materials.

Ability to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging, and visually compelling messaging.

Experience managing multiple communication channels and projects.

Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM tools preferred.

Service industry experience (fire protection or security a plus).

Compensation

This is a salaried position - salary is negotiable depending on candidate experience
