What you can expect
You and your team are responsible for the strategic and operational management of social and performance marketing projects for our customer dm Germany.
Your focus is on the conception, implementation, and optimization of paid social campaigns and performance campaigns along the entire customer journey.
You advise dm Germany strategically on social media and performance topics, identify growth potentials, and develop sustainable, measurable solutions.
You manage cross-channel campaigns (e.g., Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, Google) in close coordination with creation and dm.
You are responsible for rebriefings, project plans, budget calculations, as well as offer and forecast creation with a clear focus on KPIs and efficiency.
You have a very good channel understanding, know about the latest developments, and are responsible for the continuous development of performance strategies.
As a team lead, you foster your team, strengthen data-driven work, and develop structures and processes further.
You ensure a high quality in planning, control, and management of budgets and resources.
You are responsible for the long-term team and project planning and the capacity planning of a team of about 15 members.
As Director Account Management, you build a strong customer relationship with our contact persons at dm, actively and value-addingly involve yourself, and are perceived as a consultant. This also includes regular on-site appointments in Karlsruhe.
What you bring with you
A completed degree in business, marketing, communication, or a comparable qualification.
At least 6 years of experience in an agency environment or in a comparable setting with a focus on social media and performance marketing.
Proven expertise in paid social, performance KPIs, tracking, attribution, and data-driven campaign management.
Experience in strategic client consulting and in the expansion of budgets.
A strong understanding of the market, target groups, and digital trends – especially in the retail environment.
A very structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style.
Very good time and priority management – also with several parallel running performance and social campaigns.
First experience in the professional leadership of team members.
Very good German language skills in speech and writing as well as good English language skills.
