Robinson ISD is seeking an energetic teacher with a solid pedagogical background, superb performance ability, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic to join the Pride of the Blue Band staff.
The Robinson Band program includes 450 students across three campuses and has a team‑teaching philosophy in all aspects of the program for grades 6‑12. The Pride of the Blue Marching Band has participated in state marching contests and earned recognitions including a BOA Super Regional win in 2018 and a 2023 & 2024 State Marching Contest participation. The Robinson Symphonic Band was named the TMEA 3A Honor Band in 2014 and the program has a storied record of UIL sweepstakes and four State Marching Band Championships.
Responsibilities
Assume all duties associated with Director of Percussion.
Teach beginning percussion at Robinson Intermediate and assist one homogeneous wind beginner class.
Actively involve in Junior High Band program and marching program.
Qualifications
Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsement or training for the subject and level assigned.
Exemplary student‑centered personality.
Strong beginner pedagogy.
Detail‑oriented and self‑motivated.
Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
