The

Marketing Coordinator

will work with the Penske Automotive Group (PAG) East Marketing team to support the design and execution of dealer marketing and communications efforts. This individual will contribute to the visual design, branding, and creative materials for individual dealerships.

This role will collaborate closely with marketing strategy teams, dealership leadership, and creative agency partners to develop effective digital marketing assets, print materials, promotional collateral, and other creative initiatives. In addition, the Marketing Coordinator will support the creation and optimization of email templates within the Customer Data Platform (CDP), ensuring proper segmentation, audience targeting, and basic campaign performance reporting.

Credentials and Experience
Minimum 2 years of professional experience

in marketing, communications, or a related field
Strong print or digital portfolio demonstrating current design capabilities, including email or marketing automation templates
Primary Responsibilities

Design and execute creative assets aligned with marketing objectives, ensuring adherence to PAG and OEM brand guidelines.
Develop innovative visual concepts across a variety of formats, including digital ads, social media content, email templates, print collateral, signage, and trade event materials.
Create responsive email templates in platforms such as BeePro, Canva, and integrated CDP tools, ensuring compatibility across devices and ESPs.
Communicate regularly with internal marketing team members and dealership leadership to align strategy, gather requirements, and secure creative approvals.
Partner with marketing team members to set up audience targeting parameters for CDP-driven campaigns, ensuring templates align with segmentation strategies and customer journeys.
Monitor CDP email template performance, track engagement metrics, and provide basic audience or campaign-level insights to support marketing decisions.
Manage multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment using project management tools.
Produce visually compelling concepts with a strong understanding of layout, typography, and user experience.
Maintain organized file structures and version control for creative assets.
Job Specifications

Strong conceptual design abilities with the capacity to translate ideas into effective visual communication.
Proficiency in industry-standard design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and modern digital content tools such as BeePro, Canva, or similar template-driven platforms.
Knowledge of design principles for multi-channel output, including web, mobile, email, and print.
Experience building modular, scalable email templates and components, with an understanding of responsive design and accessibility best practices.
Strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and organizational skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively, present ideas, and contribute to team discussions.
Comfortably manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
Familiarity with marketing principles, customer segmentation, and digital workflows (experience with CRMs or CDPs is a plus).

Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent; and one to three years of related experience in marketing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree and three to five years' experience in a similar position; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
