You will act as both a “hunter” and a “farmer”, spending half your time pioneering net new business and the other half deep‑diving into your existing portfolio to drive retention and cross‑sell SaaS solutions. You’ll have the autonomy to shape the Italian market while ensuring our current carrier partners are maximizing their potential within the Transporeon ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Execute a Dual Sales Strategy: balance expertise between identifying high‑potential new prospects and nurturing an existing portfolio to ensure 100% retention and growth.
Pioneer new partnerships: prospect and close net new business opportunities with carriers, freight forwarders and logistics service providers to expand Trimble’s footprint in the Italian market.
Drive portfolio value: act as a strategic advisor to existing clients, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross‑selling new features that solve evolving logistics challenges.
Master complex negotiations: lead high‑stakes contract discussions with C-level executives, ensuring win‑win outcomes for both new acquisitions and long‑term renewals.
Influence product adoption: collaborate with internal teams to ensure your customers are fully onboarded and getting the maximum ROI from our web‑based SaaS solutions.
Essential Skills & Experience
B2B Sales Expertise: 5+ years of proven success selling complex B2B solutions within the SaaS or logistics industry.
Relationship Management: exceptional ability to build and maintain trust with senior‑level executives and decision-makers over a long‑term sales cycle.
Bilingual Proficiency: native Italian and proficient English language skills (at least C1).
Bonus Points For
Experience in the transportation or supply chain industry.
Familiarity with cross‑selling high‑tech solutions within a legacy portfolio.
