Responsibilities
The Program Supervisor is responsible for providing efficient and effective supervision and coordination of activities on assigned shifts and supervises patients on units. The Program Supervisor will assure the safety and security of the facility is always maintained and followed. The Program Supervisor ensures that the environment is always therapeutic and safe, which includes responding/intervening during crisis, attending daily activities/groups, and attending treatment team meetings. The Program Supervisor will ensure that the unit schedules are adhered by staff. The Program Supervisor serves as a liaison between Clinical Services, Nursing Services, and Admissions. The Program Supervisor provides adequate staff supervision and escort/support units when needed. Under the supervision of the Program Director and in collaboration with the Program Manager III, the Program Supervisor provides day‑to‑day management and care of patients. The Program Supervisor continuously observes the patients’ behaviors, mental health status, and activities and reports this information to the appropriate clinical staff. The Program Supervisor will function as a staff‑development trainer, sharing expert techniques and strategies with all staff. This will include demonstrating effective crisis‑management skills, taking proactive steps to prevent crises on the units when warning signs are evident, and providing a coach‑to‑team approach of problem solving on the units.

Qualifications
One to three (1‑3) years of experience in a residential treatment setting or working with adolescents preferred
High School Graduate/ GED
Valid Drivers License
Essential Physical Requirements: Medium demand, mentally and physically requiring walking, sitting, standing, occasional bending, reaching and lifting, with ability to participate in crisis intervention techniques with patients requiring physical control. Ability to lift lbs.
