SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities for this role.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Edit raw video footage into compelling, high-quality content for a variety of platforms (digital, social, internal, etc.)

Collaborate with the Videographer to understand project goals, creative direction, and timelines

Cut, sequence, and refine footage to create clear and engaging narratives

Perform advanced audio editing, including balancing levels, reducing noise, syncing dialogue, and enhancing overall sound quality

Incorporate music, sound effects, graphics, and basic motion elements as needed

Color correct and perform basic color grading to ensure visual consistency

Manage and organize video assets, project files, and exports

Ensure all deliverables meet brand standards and technical specifications

Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Travel and Time Requirements
Requires occasional domestic travel (up to 25%) and flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in film, Video Production, Media, Communications, Digital Arts, or a related field

Equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience considered

2+ years of professional video editing experience (including relevant internship or freelance work)

Proven experience as a Video Editor or in a similar role, supported by a strong portfolio

Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)

Solid understanding of video production workflows, including color correction, audio mixing, and motion graphics

Ability to translate creative briefs and brand guidelines into compelling visual content

Strong attention to detail, storytelling ability, and visual design sensibility

Experience editing content for multiple platforms and formats (digital, social, marketing, or broadcast)

Excellent time-management, communication, and collaboration skills

Work Environment & Physical Demands
LifeWave will operate as an in-office organization, and all employees are required to work onsite in alignment with corporate policy. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to work at a computer workstation and be mobile within the office. Occasional movement of up to 25 pounds may be required.
