Senior Manager, Commercial Marketing & Global Events
Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing PSX, the Senior Manager, Commercial Marketing & Global Events is responsible for leading integrated marketing strategy and the global event portfolio in support of PSX revenue growth objectives. This role translates portfolio priorities into measurable demand generation programs, oversees global congress and event investments as strategic growth levers, and ensures alignment between global campaign strategy and regional execution.
How You Will Make an Impact:
This is a commercially oriented leadership role with accountability for marketing contribution to pipeline performance and customer acquisition. The position includes direct management of Marketing Communications, Events Management and Field Marketing.
What You Will Do:
Develop and execute integrated, multi-channel marketing strategies aligned to portfolio priorities and target segments
Drive demand generation initiatives contributing measurable MQLs and pipeline influence
Define and track KPIs tied to campaign effectiveness, customer acquisition, and ROI
Partner closely with sales leadership to ensure marketing programs support account targeting and disciplined follow-up
Use analytics to optimize marketing investment and improve commercial performance
Manage the global congress and event portfolio
Align event participation with revenue objectives, product launches, and campaign themes
Design activation frameworks for major congresses, symposia, executive programs, workshops, and virtual events
Implement structured pre-event targeting and post-event conversion processes
Manage event budgets with financial discipline and ROI accountability
Provide strategic direction and alignment to three APAC field marketing team members
Translate global marketing priorities into scalable regional activation plans
Establish standardized playbooks to ensure consistent execution and performance tracking across regions
Oversee campaign messaging, digital engagement, and customer-facing materials to ensure clarity of positioning and portfolio differentiation
Partner with Product Marketing and Product Management to support new product launch activation
Lead website enhancement and digital engagement initiatives
Lead and develop a high-performing communications and events team
Establish structured planning, prioritization, and measurement frameworks
Contribute to marketing leadership discussions regarding investment decisions and portfolio optimization
How You Will Get Here:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or life sciences required
Advanced degree preferred
Experience:
8–12+ years of progressive marketing experience, preferably in life sciences or related markets
Demonstrated success executing integrated marketing programs tied to commercial outcomes
Prior experience with AI-driven marketing tools and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)
Strong marketing operations and analytics expertise, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights, optimize funnel performance and drive measurable business impact
Experience managing global congress and event portfolios
Prior people leadership experience required
Experience influencing cross-regional teams within a matrixed organization
Experience responsibly managing to a budget

The salary range estimated for this position based in District of Columbia is $160,100.00–$240,125.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
