Job Description
Sherwin-Williams Global Architectural Marketing seeks a Digital Content Author Marketing Specialist with 3‑4 years of professional digital marketing experience. The role is part of a robust eBusiness team and will support strategic digital content experiences, improve brand presence, organic traffic and online sales.
This position contributes to Sherwin‑Williams’ online brand presence by overseeing content authoring, optimization, and publishing across key digital platforms. It collaborates with content authors, cross‑functional partners and agency teams to drive organic traffic, enable sales online and in‑store, and ensure high‑quality digital experiences.
The role requires a professional with 3–4 years of content authoring experience who can manage content strategy across several digital properties within a business division. Job duties include contact with other employees and access to confidential and proprietary information; the company will conduct a criminal history review to protect its operations and staff.
Responsibilities
Maintain training on Adobe digital content solutions and collaborate with internal and agency subject‑matter experts to keep expert‑level knowledge of authoring capabilities and best practices.
Provide authoring support for web experiences across the GAM portfolio using Adobe Experience Manager.
Adhere to efficiency principles of content authoring strategy through strategic mapping of experience fragments, templating, dynamic media, adaptive forms, DAM strategy, etc.
Support optimization processes for site content to ensure accurate and consistent information, focusing on SEO/AEO.
Work cross‑functionally with eBusiness teams, Analytics, Data‑Driven Experience, Digital Ops and IT to improve authored experiences, support digital product integrations, capture leads and increase organic traffic on sherrin‑winds.com.
Support on‑page and technical SEO/AEO authoring requirements that arise through AEM content development.
Manage app messaging solution, Airship, for development and scheduling of promotional messaging and communications.
Support the Retail Media Network and Digital Alliance promotional calendar, scheduling placements and tagging.
Develop and publish content through Adobe Target to support targeting strategy, site segmentation and lifecycle of Target placements.
Cultivate ongoing knowledge of emerging Adobe content management and personalization solutions, and facilitate team training and competency.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree.
Experience administering and working within content management systems (CMS).
Understanding of the digital marketing sphere including digital content, creative development, SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, analytics, etc.
Ability to synthesize conclusions from multiple data sources and stakeholder input.
Experience managing a content or marketing calendar.
Experience using digital analytics solutions such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.
Exceptional verbal and written communication and project leadership skills, especially at manager level, and ability to tell a compelling story.
Preferred:
E‑commerce experience.
Experience with Adobe solutions, primarily Experience Manager (AEM).
