Campaign Manager
The New York City Mayor's Office is responsible for overseeing city services throughout the five boroughs, coordinating public agencies and departments, and managing public property. The administration is leading the fight in making the city more affordable, reducing inequality, improving public safety, ensuring delivery of efficient and effective services, and working to make New York City's economy stronger. The Mayor's Office of Mass Engagement (OME) is responsible for strategizing, coordinating, and executing on engagement that reaches the masses of everyday New Yorkers. We engage New Yorkers in shaping policy outcomes, demystifying government, and ensuring that the government remains accountable to serving the people of this great City. The Campaign Manager's responsibilities include, but are not limited to: building volunteer systems that allow New Yorkers to participate in large-scale, meaningful engagement and events, building out campaign initiatives for The Mayor's Office of Mass Engagement by collaborating and liaising with other offices and agencies to develop a strategic, scalable campaign that helps New Yorkers join town halls, trainings, canvases, and other events that forge relationships and leadership development among regular New Yorkers, mapping out timelines, goals, and metrics to help us communicate how the mass participation of New Yorkers as volunteers can meaningfully impact our city, working across the Mayor's Office of Mass Engagement to bring in all pieces of our engagement work into mass initiatives, and representing the Mayor's Office of Mass Engagement at public meetings when required.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required. 3+ years of experience.
Preferred Skills
Excellent at collaboration and building and maintaining a wide array of working relationships. High level of skill in clear and open communication. Experience organizing mass participation campaigns. Ability to develop and execute long-term plans, including schedules, metrics, and goals. Comfort with any of the following tech a plus: volunteer databases/CRMs, VAN, Autodialers such as Scale to Win.

Residency Requirement
New York City residency is generally required within 90 days of appointment. However, City Employees in certain titles who have worked for the City for 2 continuous years may also be eligible to reside in Nassau, Suffolk, Putnam, Westchester, Rockland, or Orange County. To determine if the residency requirement applies to you, please discuss with the agency representative at the time of interview.
