The mission of the Media Planning Supervisor is to drive strong local business results by planning, analyzing, and activating regional media and Grand Opening media that is clear, efficient, and easy for the field to execute. Will be involved with media planning, buying, strategy, and agency partnerships with a mix of experience dealing with franchise models and evolving media landscape and measurement opportunities. This role turns national strategy and local insights into high-impact media plans that build awareness, open strong, and sustain traffic.

The Media Planning Supervisor is to lead the creation of comprehensive, multi-channel media plans in conjunction with agency partners (including digital, social, search, video, audio, OOH and print) to develop goals, strategies and media KPIs tailored to specific local markets and grand opening objectives. Serve as a primary point of contact and coach for franchise owners, guiding them on best practices, local marketing execution, and adherence to brand guidelines. Collaborates internally to build consistent monitoring tools to measure media’s impact on incremental sales and traffic.

The Media Planning Supervisor reports to the Associate Media Director and works closely with Brand, Operations, Finance, Team Leaders (franchisees), and media agency partners. This role owns regional media planning, Grand Opening media strategy, local budget oversight, performance analysis, and clear communication to internal teams and the field. Must be able to work onsite in Georgetown, TX a minimum of 3 days per week.

Key Criteria/Requirements

6+ years in media planning with deep experience in local/regional media at an agency or brand side

Proven experience planning and executing Grand Opening media

Strong agency leadership

Strong understanding of local channels (paid social, search, OOH, audio, local video, direct mail

Advanced ability to analyze performance and optimize plans

Experience influencing franchisees, operators, and cross-functional leaders

Budget management overseeing media budgets, billing and communicating internally with finance teams

Strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication, project management capabilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving

Understanding of media attribution models (e.g., media mix models, incremental lift) to measure asset performance

Bachelor’s degree required
