Senior Specialist, Integrated Content Production
Overview
This role is the maestro of planning and execution. The Senior Producer is the operational heartbeat of the content production team, transforming strategic ideas into organized, high‑impact execution. The Content Marketing Producer spearheads the planning, production, workflow operations, and performance tracking of integrated content campaigns and projects that drive awareness, engagement, revenue, and business results.

In this role, the Senior Producer is a core leader within the Producer pillar of the Content Production team, collaborating closely with Creative, Content Production, and Quality & Delivery teams to manage the full production lifecycle. The Senior Producer partners across the organization to ensure smooth execution and seamless delivery of digital activations, videos, and marketing assets while maintaining organized workflows, keeping projects on schedule, and ensuring all content aligns with brand and strategic goals. This role is ideal for a seasoned content producer with deep integrated marketing experience who leads complex projects, drives cross‑team alignment, and shapes the strategic direction of content marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Production Workflow: Lead the full lifecycle of content projects across multiple initiatives, coordinating closely with cross‑functional teams to align schedules and campaign goals.

Bridge Strategy and Creative: Translate strategic briefs into clear, actionable production plans, supporting transparency, accessibility, and collaboration across teams.

Resource & Budget Management: Allocate internal and external resources and manage project budgets effectively in partnership with the Creative team.

Content Calendar Oversight: Maintain a unified, strategic view of all content activities, driving alignment on priorities, cohesive storytelling, and consistent brand expression.

Digital Publication Management: Lead the strategy and production of digital publications on SHRM.org, focusing on development, quality, and targeted distribution.

Quality Control: Ensure every asset meets brand, voice, visual, and compliance standards before final publication.

Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the central liaison for the Director of Content Marketing, Creative, Data & Insights, and Distribution/Channel teams, keeping leads aligned and the pipeline cohesive.

Performance Reporting & Optimization: Support post‑project reporting, identifying opportunities to refine planning, sequencing, and collaboration.

Process Optimization: Identify workflow gaps and build scalable systems for asset management, version control, and communication.

Mentor Junior Producers: Provide coaching and guidance to ensure consistency, efficiency, and excellence across production.

Qualifications

6–8+ years in content production, creative project management, or integrated marketing.

Experience navigating cross‑functional environments and collaborating with Brand, Communications, Creative, and Marketing teams.

Proven ability to manage complex campaigns across multimedia (video, digital, events, social).

Ability to adapt complex data, insights, or long‑form content into actionable production plans.

Strong organizational and communication skills; thrives in deadline‑driven, creative environments.

Proficiency in project management tools – Monday.com, AI assistant, Slack, etc.

Deep understanding of content marketing ecosystems and audience engagement principles.

Comfortable leading cross‑functional meetings and presenting project updates to executives.

Work Environment
Hybrid Position (3 Days In‑Office, 2 Days Remote)
This position follows a hybrid work schedule, with Tuesday through Thursday in office and Monday and Friday remote. Employees must be available during standard business hours, with core hours beginning between 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM and concluding between 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM.

Compensation & Benefits
The hiring range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 per year. This range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications.
