Chaplaincy Musician

JOB SUMMARY: To accompany weekly Kairos services and special Chaplaincy services as needed.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Rehearse music on own schedule in preparation for weekly services (usually 1-2 hours).
Rehearse music for weekly Kairos service with other musicians from 7-8 p.m. on Tuesdays.
Play piano or guitar for Kairos services from 8-9 p.m. on Tuesdays as needed.
Play piano or guitar for special Christian holiday services as needed.
Play piano or guitar for praise and worship music nights as needed.
Qualifications include:
Previous engagement with Chaplaincy programming and events preferred
Exceptional piano and/or guitar skills
Ability to read music with ease
Experience with music performance
Familiarity with worship services preferred but not required
Attention to detail and high level of organization
Possess effective communication skills
