People Architects is partnering with a growing consumer products company to recruit a Head of Sales & Marketing for a confidential leadership search.

Responsibilities:
In this role, you will lead the company’s sales and marketing function with a focus on measurable growth, new customer acquisition, digital commerce, and scalable revenue strategies.
Key areas of focus include:
- Building and executing an integrated sales and marketing strategy tied to revenue growth
- Strengthening new customer acquisition across digital, social, influencer, affiliate, partnership, and content channels
- Leading DTC/e-commerce growth and improving performance across the customer journey
- Using data to evaluate what is working across acquisition, conversion, retention, and profitability
- Overseeing influencer, affiliate, ambassador, and community-led growth strategies
- Partnering with leadership to evaluate future channel expansion opportunities, including marketplace, retail, and e-tail
- Improving reporting, KPIs, team accountability, and decision-making rhythms
- Leading and developing a small team while staying close to execution
- Helping the organization use modern tools, AI, search, and digital discovery more effectively
Qualifications (Required & Preferred):
The ideal candidate has experience growing a consumer brand and understands how to connect storytelling, community, digital commerce, and measurable revenue performance.
Strong candidates will bring:
- 10+ years of experience across marketing, sales, digital commerce, or revenue leadership
- Experience in beauty, clean beauty, wellness, skincare, cosmetics, personal care, premium lifestyle, or adjacent consumer products
- Proven success growing a DTC/e-commerce business
- Strong understanding of new customer acquisition and full-funnel marketing
- Experience with influencer, affiliate, ambassador, creator, or community-led growth models
- Comfort with platforms such as Shopify, Klaviyo, Google, Meta, TikTok, Amazon, or similar tools
- Strong command of metrics such as CAC, LTV, ROAS, MER, conversion rate, AOV, repeat purchase, and margin
- Ability to lead in a lean, fast-moving, founder-led or entrepreneurial environment
- A hands-on mindset in both strategy and execution
- Curiosity around AI, modern search behavior, social commerce, and changing consumer discovery patterns
