UI-React

Responsibilities

Build and maintain scalable, high-volume web applications using React.js.

Translate Figma designs into responsive, interactive, and high-fidelity web interfaces.

Implement efficient data flow and state management using Redux, Context API, or React Query.

Optimize React components for maximum performance across web-capable devices and browsers.

Contribute to and consume our internal Design System, ensuring UI consistency across the Walmart ecosystem.

Partner with Backend Engineers to integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL services seamlessly into the UI.

Qualifications

3+ years of professional experience focusing on React.js and its core principles.

Proficiency in TypeScript, ES6+, and modern CSS approaches (CSS Modules, Tailwind, or Styled Components).

Experience writing unit and integration tests using frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library.

Deep understanding of mobile-first development and browser compatibility quirks.

Strong eye for UI/UX and care deeply about the feel of an interaction.

Comfort working in a CI/CD environment with frequent deployments and code reviews.

Technical Stack & Tools

Languages: JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3/Sass.

Frameworks: React, Next.js (preferred).

Design: Figma (for asset extraction and handoff).

Version Control: Git / GitHub.
