We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Vice President of Marketing to lead our marketing initiatives and drive brand growth, market expansion, and revenue impact. This role will oversee brand, digital, events, and performance marketing functions, working cross-functionally with Sales, Product Marketing, and Client Success teams to align on growth priorities. The ideal candidate is a seasoned adtech marketer with deep expertise in events, advertising, lead gen, and a proven track record of building high-performing teams and scalable marketing programs.
Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Leadership
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with Cadent's goals and revenue targets.
Lead integrated marketing planning across brand, product, demand generation, events, and communications.
Help manage and grow a high-performing team of marketers.
Brand & Positioning Define and evolve Cadent's brand messaging to clearly communicate our value proposition to marketers, agencies, publishers, and tech partners.
Ensure consistent brand expression across all touchpoints.
Event Marketing Manage Cadent's national and local event presence including uncovering opportunities and planning for the year and executing events and experiences for the Cadent brand with precision ensuring an amazing brand presence.
Handle all logistics including branding, sponsorship details and contracting, promotion and liaise with GTM team to ensure attendance and client/prospect interaction opportunities.
Demand Generation & Revenue Marketing Oversee paid media, content syndication, email, ABM, and partner marketing strategies.
Own and scale lead generation programs that convert into qualified pipeline and revenue.
Optimize campaign performance using metrics such as MQL to SQL conversion rates, and ROI.
Market Intelligence & Analytics Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor moves, and customer needs.
Use data to measure marketing effectiveness and guide strategic decisions.
Build marketing dashboards and attribution models to report on KPIs.
Qualifications 10+ years of B2B marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a management role within AdTech.
Demonstrated success in building brand awareness and generating pipeline in a technical, complex sales environment.
Deep understanding of the programmatic ecosystem, media buying cycles, and advertising technologies.
Strong analytical skills with experience managing marketing performance and reporting tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics).
Proven ability to manage and mentor high-impact marketing teams.
Excellent storytelling, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

The salary range for this role takes into account a wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications as well as other business and organizational needs.
