YouTube Growth Volunteer

Role Overview:
As the YouTube Growth Volunteer, you’ll work closely with our marketing team and video editor to optimize channel performance, improve reach, and build a loyal audience. Your efforts will directly support our ability to share transformative amputee stories, educational content, and event highlights with the world.

Responsibilities:
Optimize channel settings, playlists, tags, and descriptions for SEO and viewer retention

Develop and execute growth strategies to

increase subscribers and watch time

Collaborate with our video editor and marketing team to plan and upload regular content

Write compelling video titles, thumbnails (concept), and descriptions

Research YouTube trends and recommend content formats or series ideas

Monitor analytics and performance metrics to track growth and make recommendations

Engage with viewers through comments and community features

Ensure all content aligns with the mission, values, and brand tone of Less Leg More Heart

Qualifications:
Familiarity with YouTube channel management and optimization best practices

Strong understanding of YouTube algorithms, SEO, and engagement strategies

Experience using YouTube Studio and Google Analytics

Ability to collaborate across a small team (video editor, marketing lead, etc.)

Organized, self-driven, and passionate about community storytelling and nonprofit growth

Bonus: background in digital marketing, video content strategy, or nonprofit media
