We’re looking for a Xiao Hong Shu (REDnote) Marketing Specialist to help us grow our presence in the Chinese digital space, especially targeting users in Singapore.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Plan and execute Xiao Hong Shu content and marketing strategies tailored to our target audience
Create and optimise engaging posts, visuals, and captions that align with platform trends
Manage both organic growth and paid advertising campaigns where relevant
Translate brand messaging into authentic, high-converting content that resonates with users
Monitor performance and continuously optimise for engagement, traffic, and conversions
Work closely with internal teams to align campaigns with overall marketing goals
Stay updated on Xiao Hong Shu trends, algorithm changes, and user behaviour
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:
1. Content Strategy & Creation
Work with Internal team to develop and execute content strategies for Xiao Hong Shu aligned with brand positioning
Create, edit, and publish high-quality posts, images, and short-form videos
Ensure all content reflects platform-native style: authentic, aesthetic, and relatable
Adapt messaging to suit Chinese-speaking audiences and cultural nuances
2. Platform Growth & Account Management
Manage Xiao Hong Shu accounts, ensuring consistency and credibility
Optimise account structure, profile, and content categories for discoverability
Identify trending topics, hashtags, and formats to increase reach
Build and maintain a strong, engaging brand presence on the platform
3. Advertising & Campaign Execution
Setup Business Account, plan and execute in-feed advertising campaigns on Xiao Hong Shu (when required)
Develop targeted advertising strategies based on customer needs and campaign objectives
Monitor ad performance and optimise campaigns to improve: ROI, Engagement, Conversion rates
Collaborate on creative direction (copy, visuals, hooks) for ad campaigns
4. Data Analysis & Optimisation
Track and analyse campaign and content performance metrics
Translate data into actionable insights and optimisation strategies
Continuously improve content and ad performance through testing and iteration
Support reporting for internal stakeholders and campaign reviews
5. Customer & Market Understanding
Understand product offerings and translate them into compelling content narratives
Identify user needs and behaviour within Xiao Hong Shu communities
Align marketing strategies with customer intent and platform trends
Support client or internal stakeholder goals through tailored campaign strategies
6. Collaboration & Execution
Work closely with marketing, creative, and operations teams to deliver campaigns efficiently
Support cross-functional initiatives to ensure consistent brand messaging
Contribute to process improvements and scalable workflows
Who We’re Looking For:
Experience managing Xiao Hong Shu accounts, content, or campaigns
Strong understanding of Chinese social media culture, trends, and user behaviour
Ability to create visually appealing, engaging, and native-style content
Familiarity with both organic growth strategies and paid advertising on Xiao Hong Shu
Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and optimise performance

Bonus, if you have:
Experience in beauty, skincare, or wellness industry marketing
Strong copywriting skills in Chinese (Simplified or Traditional)
