Are you ready to drive revenue growth across one of America's largest local media companies? Scripps is seeing a motivated National Sales Account Manager to manage and expand our multi-market Pay-for-Performance general market retail accounts.This role leverages Scripps' established processes to streamline national business operations, ensuring efficient collaboration between seller and buyers to achieve shared advertising objectives. The National Sales Account Manager will be responsible for securing and growing advertising revenue across Scripps' linear broadcast stations by cultivating and maintaining relationships with national clients while supporting Scripps' overall sales strategies. The position focuses on selling Scripps' enterprise portfolio, with particular emphasis on linear broadcast, digital, and CTV inventories, targeting national advertising agencies in the general market, direct response, and pay-for-performance categories.
This hybrid role can be based out of Washington D.C., New York City, or anywhere we have an office presence.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Manage accounts across multiple markets with various national agencies
Submit weekly performance reports to buyers to manage client expectations throughout campaigns
Identify, develop and grow national broadcast revenue through relationship building with national agencies and advertisers
Respond to availability and rate requests while keeping clients informed of Scripps offerings and market trends
Develop strong relationships with key national and political agencies and advertisers
Track sales activity KPIs to exceed ad sales revenue and profit goals
Work alongside product leadership to implement revenue-generating products, data and services
Negotiate advertising rates to maximize revenue share
Upsell/cross-sell digital and CTV inventories to drive incremental revenue
Prepare and present marketing proposals using qualitative and quantitative research
Perform client services including avail presentations, account management, reconciliation, credit and collections, and package preparations
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
BS/BA in related discipline preferred or equivalent years of experience
Generally 3+ years of experience in related field preferred
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Established relationships with national advertisers and their agencies
Strong understanding of television and national advertising trends
Understanding of CTV and digital sales
Ability to effectively manage a sales pipeline by engaging national accounts and agencies
Strong negotiation skills
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Strong presentation skills
Highly organized approach to managing high volume accounts
Excellent analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Experience with Wide Orbit Traffic and Wide Orbit Media Sales preferred
Experience with broadcast Pay for Performance (P4P) sales model
Driving required. Valid Driver's License, good driving record, and ability to provide proof of insurance with the company required insurance limits

COMPENSATION RANGE:
Annual Salary: $100,000.00 - 120000
Pursuant to state and local salary transparency laws, the salary range posted is specific to candidates who will perform this work in District of Columbia.
