ROLE AT A GLANCE:
The Specialist, Marketing Communications and Events will play a pivotal role in elevating the Herbalife Family Foundation's brand, mission and global impact. This position is responsible for developing compelling content, managing digital and traditional communications, supporting fundraising event initiatives, and ensuring consistent, mission-aligned messaging across all platforms. This role will require coordination with cross‑functional teams, including nonprofit partners, regional leaders, Distributors, and program staff.
Overview
This role will require the ability to lead with innovation, partnership management, and accountability. The ideal candidate brings creativity, strong storytelling abilities, and the capacity to translate community‑centered, global social impact work into inspiring, donor‑ready communications that advance HFF's mission, and experience in special events. Reporting to the Director of Social Impact.
How You'll Make an Impact
Marketing and Brand Communications
Develop integrated marketing campaigns to increase awareness of HFF's mission and impact
Create compelling written and visual content for newsletters, social media, websites, press releases, fundraising collateral, and other communication channels
Ensure all messaging aligns with HFF's brand guidelines, values, and community commitment
Maintain and update HFF's website with stories, metrics, and program updates
Events and Campaign Communications
Lead communications strategy and content development for major events, including Honors Gala
Support event branding and development of invitation language, donor spotlights, video scripts, talking points, and marketing materials
Collaborate with across internal teams to ensure cohesive storytelling and branding across all touchpoints
Develop post‑event impact summaries, highlight reels, and donor stewardship communications
Storytelling and Impact Messaging
Gather stories, testimonials, photos, and program updates from global community partners
Translate program metrics into engaging narratives, visuals, infographics, and donor‑facing materials
Support the creation of annual reports, program spotlights and impact summaries
Digital and Social Media
Manage HFF's social media content calendar, create engaging posts, and monitor performance analytics for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
Grow community engagement by highlighting HFF's work, partners, impact, and global reach
Develop targeted digital campaigns to support fundraising, awareness, and program engagement
Fundraising and Donor Communications
Create persuasive donor materials, including campaign messaging, email appeals, stewardship updates, and impact stories
Support fundraising initiatives with clear inspiring content aligned to donor motivations and program needs
Work with internal teams to track communication needs and ensure timely delivery of materials

Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or nonprofit management preferred
Experience:
5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or nonprofit management (social impact experience)
Skills/Certifications:
Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills for social media, email campaigns, special events, newsletters, and annual reports; Experience with supporting special events and campaigns; Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, be organized, multi‑task oriented; Familiarity with design tools a plus; Passion for community impact, philanthropy, and mission‑driven work.
