Job Summary
KVVU, FOX5, the Gray-owned station in Las Vegas, has an opening for an anchor/reporter. The position will include weekend anchoring and reporting each workday. This is the ideal opportunity for a true journalist who thrives in the field during the week and commands the anchor desk on weekends.

Responsibilities

Generate strong story ideas and produce/report those stories for on‑air and digital channels. All of our anchors also report.

Anchor weekend newscasts while spending weekdays out reporting.

Must be experienced in handling breaking news and live field coverage.

Qualifications

Three years of minimum experience as a reporter and anchor in a TV newsroom.

Proven, demonstrated ability to conceive and pitch strong enterprise (original) story ideas that support the FOX5 'Local Las Vegas' brand.

Strong writing and the ability to tell engaging stories through visual mediums are essential.

College degree preferred, but not required.
