WHAT DOES A VP, GLOBAL HEAD OF RESOURCING DO?
The Global Head of Resourcing is a senior strategic leader responsible for the stewardship of the agency's most valuable asset: its people. This executive role partners directly with the EVP, Operations, COO and other senior leaders to ensure the company has the right talent, with the right skills, in the right locations to meet our global client demands and drive profitability. This position leads the long-term workforce planning, talent mobility, and resource optimization strategy for the entire organization. The Global Head of Resourcing will be instrumental in building a scalable, efficient, and high-performing operational framework that supports the company's growth and vision.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of resource managers, fostering a culture of high performance and strategic partnership.
- Design and execute the global workforce planning strategy, ensuring the agency is prepared for future growth and evolving client needs.
- Oversee global capacity planning and forecasting processes to maintain optimal staffing levels, minimize downtime, and maximize billable utilization.
- Partner with Finance and Operations leadership to analyze and report on key profitability metrics, including utilization rates, billability, and project margins.
- Drive the strategy for talent allocation and mobility, creating pathways for employees to gain experience across different regions, capabilities, and client accounts.
- Identify and analyze current and future skill gaps across the organization; partner with HR and Talent Acquisition to develop and implement effective hiring and training strategies.
- Own the strategy and optimization of the resource management technology stack (PSA, project management tools) to ensure data accuracy and drive data‑informed decision‑making.
- Establish, track, and report on global resourcing KPIs to the executive leadership team, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Serve as the primary point of escalation for resolving complex, high‑stakes resource conflicts between departments or regions.
- Develop and manage a global network of high‑quality freelance and contract talent to provide flexible staffing solutions.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 12+ years of experience in resource management, agency operations, or a related professional services field.
- Minimum of 7+ years in a formal leadership capacity, with a proven track record of managing and developing teams.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic workforce planning, capacity management, and forecasting on a large scale.
- Strong financial acumen with a deep understanding of agency profitability drivers and metrics (e.g., utilization, billability, project margin).
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Compensation: $175,000-$175,000 per year.
