Commercial AV Systems Designer

We are looking for a Commercial AV Systems Designer to join our growing Audio-Visual team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys designing innovative, high-performance AV systems and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional client experiences.
What You'll Do:
Design commercial AV systems for conference rooms, collaboration spaces, command centers, training environments, auditoriums and more
Develop system layouts, signal flow diagrams, rack designs, and equipment specifications
Collaborate with sales, project managers, and field teams to bring designs to life
Ensure systems are cost-effective, scalable, and aligned with client needs
Support installation and commissioning efforts as needed
What We're Looking For:
Three to seven years of experience designing commercial AV systems
Strong understanding of AV technologies (audio, video, control systems, conferencing)
Experience with design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, D-Tools, or Visio
Ability to interpret drawings and integrate with IT
etwork infrastructure
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Required Skills:
Independently designs standard commercial AV systems
Produces full design documentation packages
Interfaces with clients and project managers regarding system requirements
Supports installation team during implementation
Preferred Qualifications:
AVIXA CTS or CTS-D certification
Experience with platforms like Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, or Biamp
Networking knowledge (CompTIA Network+, CCNA)

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. and work in field conditions including standing, bending, and climbing ladders as needed.
