Social Media Manager & Video Editor
The Social Media Manager & Video Editor is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing content across all social media platforms to strengthen brand presence, drive engagement, and support overall marketing goals. This role requires a strong blend of creativity, technical skill, and strategic thinking, with the ability to stay ahead of trends and produce content that resonates with target audiences.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy & Management

Develop and implement a cohesive social media strategy aligned with brand and marketing objectives.

Stay updated with current trends, platform updates, and best practices to ensure content remains relevant and competitive.

Create and manage a content calendar for client review and approval.

Monitor analytics to understand what works, what doesn’t, and adjust strategies accordingly.

Engage with audiences through comments, messages, and community‑building activities.

Content Creation & Graphic Design

Create visually compelling social media posts, graphics, and promotional materials.

Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and messaging.

Collaborate with the client to brainstorm content ideas and campaign concepts.

Video Editing & Production

Edit short‑form and long‑form videos for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.

Use tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar applications to produce high‑quality video content.

Repurpose long‑form content into multiple short‑form assets optimized for each platform.

Add captions, transitions, effects, and other enhancements to improve viewer retention.

Marketing & Performance Optimization

Understand marketing principles and apply them to content creation and distribution.

Analyze performance metrics and provide insights to improve reach, engagement, and conversions.

Identify opportunities for growth through new content formats, collaborations, or platform features.

Collaboration & Workflow

Work closely with the client to align on goals, messaging, and brand direction.

Proactively suggest ideas, improvements, and new content opportunities.

Maintain organized files, assets, and project timelines to ensure smooth workflow.

Qualifications

Proven experience in social media management and video editing.

Strong understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and audience behavior.

Proficiency in Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar editing tools.

Ability to create engaging graphics and visual content.

Strong marketing awareness and ability to identify what content performs well.

Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.

Creative, proactive, and collaborative mindset.
