About MylarMen:
MylarMen is a creative packaging design and manufacturing agency headquartered in Montclair, New Jersey. We connect design, packaging, and everything in between, serving clients across cannabis, hemp, food and beverage, supplements, and consumer goods. From concept to production, we handle it all: custom packaging design, branding, structural engineering, and large‑scale manufacturing. Our clients range from emerging brands to established companies, and we pride ourselves on delivering bold, shelf‑ready packaging that moves product.
The Role:
We’re hiring a Marketing Manager to grow MylarMen’s digital presence, including website traffic, social media, email campaigns, and content strategy. This person will be the driving force behind how the world sees our brand online. You’ll plan, create, and execute campaigns that bring in leads, build brand authority, and showcase our work to the industries we serve.
NOTE: This is a hands‑on role. You will not be writing strategy decks. You’ll be in Adobe Illustrator (or Canva), in our CMS, in Mailchimp (or whatever tool you champion), shooting content on the production floor, and analyzing what’s working. We need someone who is equal parts creative and analytical, and who thrives in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
What You’ll Do:
Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to increase website traffic, social media engagement, and inbound leads
Plan, write, design, and deploy email marketing campaigns (newsletters, drip sequences, promotional blasts, client nurture flows) that drive conversions and keep our brand top of mind
Manage and grow all social media channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X/Twitter, Facebook) with consistent, on‑brand content that highlights our work, our process, and our people
Create compelling visual content, including graphics, short‑form video, reels, behind‑the‑scenes production content, client case studies, and portfolio showcases
Own the company website: keep it updated with new projects, blog posts, SEO‑optimized landing pages, and ensure it reflects our latest work and capabilities
Build and manage a content calendar that aligns social, email, blog, and campaign efforts into a cohesive brand narrative
Track, analyze, and report on marketing KPIs (web traffic, email open/click rates, social growth, lead attribution) and use data to continuously optimize performance
Collaborate with the sales team to create pitch materials, one‑pagers, case studies, and client‑facing presentations that support business development
Research and identify new marketing channels, partnerships, and opportunities to expand brand reach (trade shows, industry publications, influencer partnerships, etc.)
Manage paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads) to complement organic growth efforts
Coordinate with external vendors or freelancers as needed (photographers, videographers, PR agencies)
Help shape and protect the MylarMen brand voice across every customer touchpoint
What We’re Looking For:
3‑5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably at a creative agency, design studio, CPG brand, or packaging company
Proven track record of growing web traffic and social media audiences organically
Hands‑on experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot, or similar)
Proficiency in design tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), or Figma
Solid understanding of SEO, Google Analytics, and content marketing best practices
Experience running paid ad campaigns across Google, Meta, and/or LinkedIn
Strong copywriting skills. You can write punchy social captions, compelling email copy, and polished web content
Photo and video content creation skills (even smartphone‑level is fine, we’re looking for an eye, not a film degree)
Self‑starter who can manage multiple projects simultaneously without hand‑holding
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Bonus Points:
Experience in the cannabis, hemp, supplements, or food and beverage packaging industries
Familiarity with trade show marketing and event promotion
Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce) and marketing automation workflows
Knowledge of AI‑powered marketing tools and willingness to leverage them for efficiency
Basic understanding of print production, packaging materials, or manufacturing processes
Photography or videography skills beyond the basics
What We Offer:
A creative, collaborative work environment where your ideas actually get implemented
Direct access to leadership with no layers of bureaucracy
The opportunity to build and own the marketing function at a growing company
Exposure to the full product lifecycle, from design concept to manufactured product on shelves
A front‑row seat to an exciting, fast‑growing industry
