Job Overview
The
Marketing Coordinator I
(Associate, Global Promotions & Brand Product) provides high-level tactical support for 3rd party brand campaigns and licensed promotions. This role manages a wide portfolio of 30-70 active projects, ensuring alignment on partnerships tied to high-profile IP (such as HBO). The team is laid back but serious about maintaining a high workload and delivering results that extend screen storytelling into tangible consumer products.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development:
Prospect new business via email outreach and customize pitch materials to support partnership acquisition.
Project Management:
Handle a very high volume (30+) of projects simultaneously, researching and responding to licensee requests while maintaining weekly calendars and trackers.
Administrative Oversight:
Manage heavy meeting scheduling, agenda management, and the on-boarding of new licensees.
Documentation:
Create and process deal point memos and legal documents; help legal write contracts with high attention to detail to mitigate risk.
Financial Tracking:
Handle the collection of forecasts, accruals, and royalty statements.
Global Support:
Under the guidance of the Director, support global promotions program executions and manage NDAs and event/trade show invites.
Product & Media:
Manage sample inventory and product requests; input PR, social support, and newsletter requests.
Qualifications & Experience
Work Experience:
3+ years of experience required (3-5 years preferred).
Background in
Consumer Products, Licensing, Promotions, or Partnerships
is required.
Experience in the media/entertainment industry is strongly preferred.
Education:
BA/BS degree with coursework in business, marketing, or a related field is strongly preferred.
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in
Airtable ,
Monday.com , and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Basic design skills in
Photoshop and/or Illustrator
for customizing pitches is a plus.
