KSLA News 12 is a CBS affiliate serving the ArkLaTex region.

KSLA News 12 is looking for a Streaming TV Anchor/Content Creator who can develop and produce live and original video content exclusively for our digital platforms. You’ll use your writing, video production skills, and on-camera presentation abilities to expand our breaking news, streaming, and social media presence.

Duties / Responsibilities

Go live on digital platforms during breaking news, severe weather, community events, planned programming, etc.

Create short-form and long-form video stories for our website, app, streaming platforms, and social media sites using content gathered by reporters and photographers, as well as your unique content, and content generated by breaking news/top headlines of the day.

Anchor and produce digital-first updates, explainers, and special reports.

Collaborate with the staff to identify opportunities for unique digital video coverage.

Qualifications / Requirements

College degree in journalism or related field.

Strong news judgment and ability to work quickly in breaking news environments.

Proficient and comfortable communicating on-camera.

Strong video editing skills (Premiere, Edius, or similar).

Familiarity with social media video trends and digital storytelling.
