Job Summary


The CeraVe brand seeks a social media and marketing leader to elevate the brand’s presence in the US. The Director will manage Advocacy & Influencer Marketing, ensuring seamless integration across all marketing functions, driving brand awareness, sales growth, and influencing key marketing moments such as tentpole activations and product launches.


Responsibilities



  • ADVOCACY & INFLUENCER MARKETING

  • Oversee a team of Managers that deliver on campaign strategy and execute tactical deployment of influencer marketing for CeraVe in the US.

  • Develop an overarching strategy for A&I that reflects market trends and platform evolution, keeping the brand competitive.

  • Identify relevant cultural and social media trends and ensure integration in content to maximize relevance.

  • Collaborate with owned counterparts to maximize paid social presence of A&I content across TikTok, Meta, Instagram, Snapchat, Reddit, and Pinterest.

  • Grow and maintain the number of activated influencers from nano to VIP.

  • Ensure the team meets critical A&I KPIs, consistently ranking high for share of influence, views, and engagement.

  • ADVOCACY MANAGEMENT

  • Balance “Love” vs “Paid” content through community development, seeding, and other brand-love tactics.

  • Work with PR and Marketing teams to navigate brand partnerships that elevate and expand presence beyond skincare into new verticals.

  • CROSS-FUNCTIONAL MANAGEMENT AND COORDINATION

  • Collaborate with LDB Digital US and Global counterparts to align execution, KPIs, and best practices.

  • Work with DMI/Global Marketing to adapt marketing playbooks for US needs.

  • Coordinate across US Marketing, DMI, and Media teams for flawless execution of major tentpoles and launches.

  • AGENCY & BUDGET MANAGEMENT

  • Serve as key relationship holder for agency and vendor relationships, ensuring resourcing needs are met.

  • Manage budgets covering influencer contracts, agency retainers, and vendor contracts.

  • REPORTING & PRESENTATIONS

  • Develop executive presentations reflecting strategy, impact, and future learnings of all campaigns.

  • Integrate KPI reporting into campaign reports and executive presentations.

  • Report on performance and rankings via LUSA and Global reporting tools such as Traackr.

  • TEAM MANAGEMENT & DEVELOPMENT

  • Develop managers of varying levels to operate at maximum efficiency.

  • Work with each individual on personal and professional growth, creating specific growth plans.

  • Create a team culture that values diverse opinions, fun & energy while maintaining CeraVe’s pace.


Required Qualifications



  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations.

  • 8–10 years of experience in marketing within skincare, beauty, and/or CPG industry.

  • Passionate about social media, particularly trends in the beauty and skincare space.

  • Experience delivering effective presentations via PowerPoint and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Experience using Traackr for influencer marketing reporting.

  • Strategic planner and creative thinker with strong vision and collaborative mindset.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with aggressive timelines.

  • Change‑agile and demonstrates success in a fast‑paced, evolving landscape.

  • Strong teamwork, collaboration, and business‑relationship building skills.

  • Experience managing content and creative, and knowledge of creator communities.

  • Required to be in office 3 days per week; during remaining 2024 weeks the office will alternate while remodeling.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Master’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Beauty/Skincare Management, Business, or a related area.

  • Relevant industry certifications.
