This role provides critical coordination and production support for video podcasts, interviews and social content, helping ensure projects run smoothly from planning through delivery.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive and eager to learn. They will support scheduling, booking and production logistics while working closely with producers, editors and journalists across the Opinions department. This role is designed as an entry point into video production, with opportunities to build foundational skills in editing and digital storytelling over time.This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced media environment while contributing to high-quality opinion journalism across digital platforms.What motivates youYou are highly organized and enjoy keeping projects and people on track.You are interested in video production and excited to learn how content is created and distributed.You have strong attention to detail and take pride in accurate, well-coordinated work.You are comfortable working in fast-moving environments and on deadline.You enjoy supporting a team and contributing to shared goals.You are eager to learn new tools, systems and workflows.How you’ll support the missionProduction Coordination & SupportCoordinate scheduling, booking and logistics for video podcasts, interviews and other productions.Support communication with guests, contributors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth production workflows.Prepare materials for shoots and recordings, including rundowns, research packets and asset organization.Track production timelines, deliverables and dependencies to help keep projects on schedule.Editorial & Workflow SupportAssist producers and editors in preparing content for editing, including organizing footage, transcripts and assets.Help manage and maintain shared systems, files and production trackers.Support publishing workflows, including uploading content and entering basic metadata.Team & Production AssistanceProvide on-site or in-studio support during recordings, including basic setup, coordination and troubleshooting.Assist with general production needs across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Learning & DevelopmentDevelop foundational skills in video editing, storytelling and platform formats with guidance from the team.Observe and support editing workflows to build technical and creative capabilities over time.The skills and experience you bring0–1 years of experience in media, production, communications or a related field (internships or academic experience welcome)Strong organizational and time management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work efficiently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentHigh attention to detail and reliability in executing tasksInterest in video production, digital media and journalismWillingness to learn editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro and related softwareCollaboration makes us stronger.
