GRAPHIC DESIGN ASSISTANT

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Ty Inc. is looking for a Graphic Design Assistant to join our team in our corporate office. The Graphic Design Assistant will apply art and design skills to produce a visually appealing product for the client.

The ideal person for this position has an excellent sense of design, an eye for detail, and an artistic background with the ability to coordinate color, imagination, and electronic messaging into different environments.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Assists with support material for core product including website, sell sheets, signage, point of purchase, special programs, etc

Assist with marketing materials as requested by the management

Photographs products and prepares for use in catalogs, tradeshows, Ty Store web site, SM, and other marketing initiatives

Execute projects to meet deadlines

Performs other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU BRING:

Associate’s degree in graphic design or related field or equivalent work experience required

Minimum of 3 years of experience in graphic production

Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office in a Macintosh Environment

Strong digital Photography skills, experience with product photography required

Intermediate verbal and written communication skills

Must be team oriented but able to work independently as needed
