Job Overview
The Talent Lead is responsible for designing, aligning, and strengthening CV’s global talent strategy across talent acquisition, workforce planning, and role architecture. This role ensures that CV attracts, selects, and positions the right people in the right roles at the right time to deliver on our mission.
Working closely with the Head of People Operations, the Talent Lead will standardize and elevate recruitment processes, introduce strategic workforce planning practices, and build a clear and scalable talent framework that supports growth, stewardship, and organisational health. This role combines strategic design with operational execution, bringing structure, alignment, and foresight to how CV hires and deploys talent globally.

Specific Responsibilities

Develop and lead CV’s global talent acquisition strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and mission objectives.

Standardize and continuously improve recruitment processes across all locations to drive consistency and efficiency.

Partner with hiring managers to support effective, timely, and high‑quality hiring decisions.

Establish structured interview, selection, and assessment methodologies that ensure fairness, alignment to values, and quality of hire.

Equip and train hiring managers with practical tools, guidance, and best practices to improve recruitment effectiveness.

Lead strategic workforce planning, including headcount forecasting, capability gap analysis, and resource allocation recommendations.

Design and maintain a clear global talent framework, including role architecture, competencies, and leveling principles.

Provide data‑driven insights through workforce analytics, translating metrics into actionable recommendations for leadership.

Work with the communications team to strengthen employer branding and talent attraction strategies to position CV competitively in talent markets.

Support succession planning and leadership pipeline development in partnership with senior leadership.

Ensure all talent‑related practices are compliant with legal requirements and reflect CV’s culture, values, and global operating context.

Collaborate within a global organisation across time zones, including occasional out‑of‑hours availability when required.

Skills, Experience And Education

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organisational Psychology, or related field.

5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Workforce Planning, or Talent Management.

Experience building or standardising recruitment processes across multiple locations or regions.

Demonstrated experience in workforce planning and organisational design.

Strong analytical capability and experience using talent metrics to drive decisions.

Experience working in global, multicultural environments.

Knowledge of employment law fundamentals and compliance considerations.

Experience in nonprofit, missions, or ministry settings is highly valued.
