We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Digital Media Associate to support our marketing operations.
Position Summary:
Supports the marketing department across the broader organization by executing digital strategies, creating engaging content, and maintaining the company’s online presence. Works hand-in-hand with the Marketing Coordinator to plan and implement campaigns. This role focuses heavily on social media production, visual content creation, photography, videography and assisting with digital advertising efforts.
Work Environment & Schedule:
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Wilmington, North Carolina, with standard hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The role requires time spent on active job sites and travel, including out-of-state job locations, for content capture and marketing support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce and edit social media content including videos, photos, and short-form media for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Film on-site equipment, projects, and team operations to showcase services and brand personality
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and publishing content across digital platforms
- Help manage and monitor company social media accounts, including responding to comments and messages
- Support digital marketing campaigns, including Google Ads and email marketing initiatives
- Conduct on-site content production at active job sites, capturing high-quality photo and video of construction operations and equipment to support marketing campaigns and brand storytelling
- Track and report basic performance metrics (engagement, reach, leads, etc.)
- Maintain brand consistency across all digital channels
- Collaborate with team members to promote services such as heavy equipment repair, hauling, and hydraulic services
- Assist with website updates and general online presence management
Skills & Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms and trends
- Experience with content creation (photo/video editing tools preferred)
- Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud
- Familiarity with digital advertising platforms like Google Ads is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- Creative mindset with attention to detail
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively and work closely with the Marketing Coordinator
