Support Engineer - Support Engineer II
A skilled operator with extensive experience operating drones via a Remote Control is sought for a position as an operations specialist. The role involves assisting in the development and testing of safety-related technologies. This position includes mission planning and lightweight maintenance duties. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, a safety-oriented attitude, and enthusiasm for technology.
Key Responsibilities
Act as an operations specialist for drone technology development and testing.
Conduct mission planning and lightweight maintenance for drones.
Perform operation readiness activities and logistics planning.
Lead small teams in operational tasks.
Required Qualifications
Current 14 CFR Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
2+ years of remote-control pilot experience.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Experience leading small teams.
Valid driver's license and ability to satisfy driver eligibility criteria.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with the commercial drone industry.
Private Pilot License (PPL).
Aviation safety experience, such as serving as a Safety Officer.
Experience owning projects and updating key stakeholders on progress.
Business communications and reporting skills.
Compensation
The pay rate for this position is between $30.00 and $40.00 per hour.
