Since launching in November 2023, we’ve grown 200% year over year and have expanded to design products across equipment, luggage, and apparel.

Job Description
We’re looking for a creative and self-motivated content producer to join our small but growing team. This is a unique opportunity to help scale Yardsale’s brand as we continue to grow over the next 3-5 years.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly creative, extremely organized, and loves producing content in a fast paced work environment. You will work closely with the co-founders onsite in San Francisco.

You Will

Operate and maintain the content calendar across core brand content channels for Yardsale and Double Black, our coffee shop

Develop creative social content ideas and campaigns that align with our marketing and product launch calendar

Concept + shoot content onsite in our design studio and coffee shop/retail store

Edit videos and manage additional freelance editors as needed

Work closely with our paid media consultant to convert high-performing organic content into paid channels

Collaborate with the founders on ideas for their personal social content

You Are

Extremely online, ahead of trends, and fluent in digital culture, design, and consumer behavior

Execution-oriented and can work quickly on a deadline.

Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects.

Analytical in nature.

Creative! We try to go where other traditional outdoor brands don’t and want this to span across everything we do, including product, operations, and marketing

Excited to work at an early-stage brand where things change season-to-season

Basic Qualifications

1-2 years of experience in brand or social media marketing (experience in the outdoor industry is

not

a requirement but consumer brand experience is preferred)

Strong knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and trends

Strong willingness to learn and lean in depending on the company’s needs season-by-season

Strong understanding of how each content channel maps to the full marketing funnel

A personal connection to and understanding of outdoor activities (trail running, climbing, skiing, etc.) is a big plus

Must-Haves

You must live in San Francisco and be available to come into our Cole Valley, SF office 5 days a week (with flexibility)

Strong instincts for what works on TikTok and Instagram

Strong basic design skills in InDesign/Figma, and video editing in CapCut (this is a must)

Benefits + Other Details

This position will be contract to hire at $34-$39/hour to begin with the opportunity for a full-time offer after two months

Full-time salary range $70k-$80k depending on experience
